Barolos Ristorante Italiano
I am a huge fan of Italian food, and when I heard something new took over Mariosarti but kept the Italian cuisine… I had to check it out. And boy did we let let our stomachs do the ordering 😋. Here’s a look at the MENU
First we always begin with a drink, Espresso Martini
Espressos’ drink of choice (ironically), nice a smooth… laced with delicious coffee, and of course vodka 😋. A great way to start off the relaxing evening.
And then… we ordered a tasting plate of Entrees ❤
So initially the plan was, one of everything for each of us… Sounds simple, then the arancini happened 😂. I ‘may have’ taken a bite out of the second one without knowing, but the death stare I received made me share the remaining half of it lol. It was so tasty. Very well done, and beautifully represented.
and then our mains arrived
linguine con bistecca funghi
Seared Wagyu, Sautéed Forest Mushroom In A Light Creamy Sauce Finished With Truffle Parmesan And Fresh Italian Herbs.
Spoilers… we ordered both dishes with beef. But we needed to try the pasta.
The linguine was delicious, and lightly chewy. but the flavors really shined. I love the sauteed mushrooms and sauce.
rib fillet 300g
Diamantina Wagyu MB 4-5 Toowoomba, With Truffled Mash Potato, Blistered Cherry Tomatoes And Confit Mushroom, Barolo Jus And Selection Of Mustards
Oh juicy steak, you are always a must at dinner time.
Local stock, and served with just the essentials. Oh truffled mash… you are a weakness of mine.
… and one more drink 😉
…and we never leave without dessert: Tiramisu
Moist tiramisu slice, decorated with raspberry and brownie dust, with a swirl of chocolate fondant. I think it’s becoming a trend that we have to have two forms of coffee with each meal lol.
Can’t wait to come back and try more of the mains… and another dessert 😉
Also, their events room is so nice. Lovely space, and really affordable for what is all included.
