A Love Affair with Two Breakfast Specials
I love breakfast… No doubt my favorite meal of the day, and usually the most delicious :)
Last weekend, the Head Chef of The New Black, Andrew Cameron decided to compile breakfast creations including some of my favorite ingredients.. Fried Chicken & Waffles, and Peanut Butter & Jelly. Yes, it was a wonderful day ❤.

So this was pretty much my fantasy recreated as a breakfast dish…
Salty peanut butter with sweet strawberry jam, combined with a combination of different textures of pb&j. And of course, it was filled with the goods too 👌

Chicken + Waffles // Buttermilk waffle, fried chicken, pickled melon, jalapeño mayo, bacon powder
CHICKEN + WAFFLES
The classic American breakfast dish recreated with a bit of a twist.
Soft, springy buttermilk waffles topped with their boneless chicken… so juicy and delicious, I love that they have them available for dinner ❤. The pickled melon added a vinegar hit to the dish, and the bacon powder just tired everything together… it was brilliant.
Can’t wait to see what they come up with next!
