Lunch at Lucha Kitchen and Bar

Brisbane city is getting more authentic Asian cuisines opening up. This latest hotspot is in the new arcade, Fudodori. I’m ready to have some delicious dishes.

Oolong Tropical Fruit Tea & Grapefruit Mint Sparkling Tea

The amount of fruit in my oolong tea was worth it alone 😂, but I really liked the light body taste.

The sparkling tea was very neat, and I really enjoyed the tart grapefruit flavor with each sip.

However, next time I really can't wait to try the desserts for a sweet treat ❤️.

What we ate :

Signature Lucha Roast Chicken

So moist and juicy.

Really enjoyed the crisp skin, but mostly I loved that jasmine honey for dipping the chicken into 😊.

The half chicken was the perfect amount for two people, especially with so much food to share.

Sliced Beef Congee

Thick rice porridge, while it doesn't sound the appealing it’s great for these crazy cold days.
Their congee is the thick rice type rather than the smooth type, just incase you have preference (like some people I know do 😂).

Lucha signature fried rice

The traditional Chinese dish that you always have to get, fried rice.
This one however also is mixed in with green tea leaves for a unique flavor profile.
I liked the inclusion of all the ingredients in one dish, but I am a sucker for plain old fried rice too.

Peking Duck

The main things that enticed me to come here initially (then I had that roast chicken… ❤).
I love the relaxation of making peking duck pancakes, and the satisfaction from devoring them.
Crispy skin, and very meaty pieces, This large plate didn’t last too long lol.

Fast-paced but great service.

Next time I come back it’ll be for the desserts and to try some more lunch specials.
I really liked how well priced the lunch items are.
