Dinner at Sazerac Bar

A roof-top bar high up on level 30.
Up here there is no worries, just relaxation and a good time

Menu:

Drinks:

On the left was the very popular Pink Ninja with Beefeater Gin, Fresh Raspberry, Bols Maraschino Liqueur, Fresh Lemon Juice, Maraschino Juice, Fresh Pineapple Juice and Sugar. This was fruity, sweet and had a hint of sour.

In the centre, Espresso Martini with Absolut Vodka, Kahlua, Fresh Espresso and Sugar. Very potent and definitely not lacking in caffeine hit.

Lastly, the signature Sazerac with Half Cognac and Half Rye, served with a lemon chip and a twist. A classic cocktail originating from New Orleans. Akin to an Old Fashioned, it was definitely strong and intense.

What we ate :

Tempura Moreton Bay bug tail sliders with Cajun spice mayonnaise, lightly battered but taste a treat. So much value in this and just absolutely delicious.

Crispy semolina crusted calamari with lemon aioli, sure you can find this type of dish everywhere but this was prepared so well and just so fresh & creamy 😊.

Spicy Sriracha butter milk chicken drumettes with sesame seed and maple syrup, small but plenty on a plate. Definitely more on the sweet side but still enjoyable.

Vegetarian Mushroom Risotto, coming from recommendation by the waiter this didn’t disappoint. Plenty of mushrooms and the rice was super tender and tasty in the broth.

Lastly we had another vegetarian dish - the arancini rice balls with aioli.
Made fresh to order these tasty treats were delightful… but we have to save room for the dessert.

Dessert

Churros ❤
Drizzled in chocolate sauce, dusted in sugar and oh so crispy…
With a strawberry for a sign of health lol.

Really great service.

Beautiful view, and the menu was surprising.
Definitely keen to come back later.
