Dinner at First Met Cafe
An isolated bubble tea cafe that serves up more than just delicious drinks.
Cute cafe that is decorated to be accommodating for large groups, couples, or individuals looking to escape the heat.
The entertainment area is always busy and I’ve never seen this place empty.
Menu:
Drinks:
When you come here you have to try the PURPLE RICE YOGURT.
It’s light and refreshing, unlike first impressions where you’d think thick like yogurt.
Instead it smooth and sweet, the rice adds a nice texture.
Chewing a drink may be a little odd for newcomers but it’s something you can get used too like with pearls 😊.
We also tried their fruit teas (which are also available in 1 LITRE too).
If you’re not a fan of sweet make sure you ask for less sugar as the natural sugars from the fruits can make it a little extra sweet. But in the end it was nice for these crazy hot
Food:
First the savory… no peaking further, we’ll get to the sweet surprise. 😉
For $18.80 this was an incredible serving size!
So much meat on those bones with plenty of mash to eat with it.
Tender and filling, just a nice relax treat.
Here we go, the dessert.
Not sure what it is called on the menu, but its a bubble tea sponge cake that is plated like a masterpiece.
Its surprising soft and moist in the middle.
Also not too heavy or sweet.
It was a really nice balance of flavors really pleasing to look at.
Summary
I have probably been here 5 times and I only known of this place for a bit over a month lol.
It’s a great atmosphere with the variety of seating arrangements and types of games you can play.
The menu is large but not too huge, and the quality is pretty consistent.
Wait times can get long during peak tiimes but that expected.
Oh, and you can order in advance.
Definitely keen to come back again
