Lunch at Brisbane's newest noodle destination, IKU Noodle Bar

When it starts getting cooler there is nothing like warm soup and noodles to bring you back to life.
I love seeing Brisbane City receive more and more delicious venues.
We went during the free noodle day, and I never seen so many people in one area for a long time.

Menu:

Nice and simple ordering paper that you fill out and hand back to the counter.

Food:

✔️ Soba - Salmon - Traditional Dashi

Espresso’s pick, it’s always salmon if it’s on the menu.
She love’s the balanced broth with neutral flavors.
Noodles were just right to her, although the salmon was cooked (not her preference) it was still a tasty lunch treat.

✔️ Udon - Beef - Curry

Thick, but short noodles (wish they were longer) with great bite.
The beef was really tender and plenty of it, and the curry broth packed a nice (but not too spicy) kick.
Definitely a medium heat, but a nice winter warmer

Summary

I love the new venues popping up in the CBD.
I’m happy to see Post Office Square getting more populated, I just wish it were open on the weekends lol.
Glad to see more winter comfort food… and at a nice price.
