Dinner at Friday Sunnybank
From the front it was hard tell what this place was going to be.
The entrance all you see is a lift and stairs, and when you look up at the windows you see bright neons.
Let’s check it out.
Menu:
Drinks:
We had the fruit champagne and sea breeze.
The fruit champagne came in a cup that was as large as a fish bowl, definitely a sight to see.
It was sweet and had so much fruit in it
Compared to the sea breeze which was more tangy with the grapefruit, and had a lot more alcohol to it.
Malatang time:
First up was the udon and soupy malatang with a clear garlic soup as well as a mix of toppings.
Next was stir fried noodles with a selection of toppings and satay sauce.
The difference with this malatang compared to the rest is that you select the ingredients on a sheet rather than selecting the quantities you want and paying per weight of the bowl. It’s not bad, but it tends to give you a lot of veg if you select them ( which is why I didn’t 😂).
None the less the ingredients were fresh and tasty, and left me feeling full.
